Does the mobile app work offline?

Yes, the Pygmy Elephant Companion mobile app is designed to work offline once your trip content and maps have downloaded.

Before your trip, please open the app while connected to Wi-Fi and allow your trip to fully download. This helps ensure your itinerary, maps, GPX routes, accommodations, documents, and trip information are available while you are on the trail.

If you make changes to your trip shortly before or during travel, please open the app again while connected to Wi-Fi so any updated information can load.
