The Map feature is useful for seeing an overview of a day.
Depending on the day and destination, Map may show:
- The GPX route
- Accommodation locations
- Nearby map context
- Destination information
- Points of interest, if available
The Map can be helpful before or after the hike when you want a broader context around the route, accommodations, or destination.
If the Map view is inactive for several minutes, you may be returned to the trip home screen. We therefore recommend using the Route feature for active trail navigation.
